Looking for some new folk metal bands today and was looking for other suggestions. My problem with a lot of folk/pagan metal is that it trends towards black metal, which I'm not a huge fan of. Specifically, I want lyrics and melody I can hear/understand, rather than it devolving into a sludgy mess like most of the black metal I am familiar with.
